Northumbria University is a commercially-focused university that was looking to expand coaching provision at all levels throughout the organisation. They had already instigated the development of an internal coach ‘bench’, and a programme for coaching skills for managers.
We supported them with two distinct initiatives aimed at expanding the acceptance of coaching and maintaining coaching skill levels:
- Delivery and management of coaching for their executive team
- Continuous Professional Development workshops for their internal coach bench
Since starting work with Northumbria University in 2014, we have become their sole partner for coaching of the executive team and continue to work with a number of senior leaders.
The University’s internal coach bench has delivered hundreds of hour of coaching that would otherwise not have taken place or provided by external coaches, saving tens of thousands of pounds.
